This week we worked on a group project and collectively built a machine that moves along three axes to decorate baked goods. I have worked on the following things:
With the help from Nadya and Rob, Anjie and I built a 24V power supply that we were likely to need to run the machine. We learned to use the heat shrink tubing to wrap around wires; it was really cool! Here is a video we took:
Daphne and I 3D printed the parts that we used to test the Moineau pump, which is explained more in detail on our class webpage.
I was the main documenter of the end effectors team. I took pictures throughout the process, gathered pictures, videos and files from other teammates, edited video clips (and dubbing music) and wrote up the "Toolhead development" portion of the group project webpage.
